Welcome to the highlight of Toyama city

"The tour of castle town by matsukawa excursion boat"
in Toyama !

【Matsukawa excursion boat】

We operate excursion boats on the river Matsukawa (which was originally part of the river Jinzu) which flows through the center of Toyama City.

During the excursion you can imagine bygone days on the Jinzu river which used to be crowded as it was the busiest trade route during the early Edo period through to the latter part of the Meiji period.

Mr. Koichi Tanaka, who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2002, used to walk the river banks on his way to and from school (Shibazono junior high school, Toyama chubu high school).
